Following a decision taken by the Board of Directors of SME Mauritius Ltd on 28 August 2026, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr Ravin Rampersad, has been suspended from his duties pending an investigation. The Board has also appointed Mr Raj Kishore Bunjun, former Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Industry, SME and Cooperatives (SME Division), as Officer-in-Charge to ensure the continuity of operations at SME Mauritius Ltd.
